Dear friends,
We have been working todwards achieving the Common Dream A prosperous Bihar.
Our latest initiative is to connect all the people who would like to go back to Bihar if there is a suitable opportunity.
Can you imagine having Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Bosch, Oracle, Accenture all having development centre in Patna?
Are you a Bihari working out of Bihar?
Do you miss your hometown, your village, your parents, relatives and friends?
Do you spent a significant amount of your earning for travel to your home town?
If you get a suitable job offer in Bihar will you like to come back?
If your answer is yes, please join the group on Facebook and invite your interested friends as well.
Your presence will attract big companies to invest in Bihar because of few reasons below:
1. Brand Bihari – Biharis are well known for their intelligence, hard work and loyalty
2. Human resource – A huge pool of computer science and engineering graduates like BCA, MCA, B. Tech etc. and other English speaking
graduates are available. This fits into the growth strategy of IT, ITes and BPO companies.
3. Cost effectiveness – Cost advantage in terms of low cost human resources, real estate price, tax benefits etc.
4. Connectivity – Patna the capital of Bihar is well connected by train/flights with all major cities.
5. Future growth – Bihar is expected to grow rapidly in coming years

We worked on the initial proposal “Adbhut Samridhi Canal” to provide solution for floods and generation of abundant electricity which will in turn trigger agricultural and industrial revolution.
Avinash took this proposal to few leaders having strong influence in current state government. The proposal was used as another tool for propaganda by them and that too without consulting us. Not to our surprise, one of the leaders was sent to Rajyasabha as a reward. The result was that Avinash felt backstabbed and lost faith in the government.

****Company***

With vision to form an Infosys in Patna, we worked on a Project Plan to start a company for Software Development and Information Technology Enabled Services with ambitions to start with few hundred professional and recruit 5000 professional in next few years. I personally visited the Biscomaun Bhawan in Patna which is declared as IT Park by the state government of Bihar. Not to my surprise, it was stinking and full with garbage and filth like any other office premises there. I contacted state government officials to discuss the IT policy posted at the state government website (http://gov.bih.nic.in); I was told that the policy is still in draft version hence not applicable. I visited SIDBI office for funding and I was told that I should contact Kolkata office. We decided to put the project on hold for sometime.

****The Book***
***************
We are working on a book “Revive Bihar” which will try to portrait the basic problems of Bihar and the revival strategy. We plan to shortlist from the messages posted at BRF and include them in the book.

***Future Plan***

1. Together you and we must keep promoting the proposal “Adbhut Samridhi Canal” till it becomes a reality and which will cause agricultural and industrial revolution!
2. Post your ideas and please invite your friends to visit BRF blog and join BRF on Facebook. To achieve the big dream, everyone’s participation is very much required. Once we have significant in number we can identify volunteers and formally register BRF as an NGO.
3. For the Software startup project, connect with industry specialist and investors. Please contact us if you are interested in this project.
4. Create a group on LinkedIn and Facebook to connect with software professionals interested in relocating to Patna. If we could attract significant number of professionals, this may attract big software companies to Patna.
5. Complete the book “Revive Bihar” and get it published.
I look forward for your extended cooperation!
Once again I thank you all and wish you Happy Independence Day!
Warm regards,
